• Space & Time
Time, calendars, celestial motion, location, and direction are all closely related. This app includes not only the current time and date, but also information about the moon phase, the Earth's rotation and revolution, latitude and longitude, compass direction, and even a level meter using your iPhone. It lets you grasp the current time and space at a glance.
[Top of the screen]
MOON... Moon phase (moon age 0–29)
HOURS... Hours (24 hours)
MINUTES... Minutes (60 minutes)
SECONDS... Seconds (60 seconds)
[Center of the screen]
Displays year, month, day, hour, minute, weekday, and second.
The Earth makes one full rotation around the center of the screen in 365 days (366 in a leap year). It also reproduces approximate daylight length for the season based on the tilt of the Earth's axis. Depending on your current latitude (Northern or Southern Hemisphere), the graphics of the Earth and the Moon change accordingly.
[Bottom of the screen]
LATITUDE... Latitude (-90 to +90 degrees, +: North, -: South)
LONGITUDE... Longitude (-180 to +180 degrees, +: East, -: West)
COMPASS... Heading (North direction)
LEVEL... Level meter (measures the iPhone's X and Y axes)
You can also tap the screen to switch the background among four colors: “Space”, “Midnight”, “Twilight”, and “Skyblue”.
